3rd Party Access

A key concept of the Ascentric service is to hold all clients assets on the platform and offer third party asset managers and stockbrokers the ability to access and manage the appropriate section of a client's assets externally. This ensures that the assets remain on the platform and don't pass to the full control of the third party. This facility also allows introducers such as law firms to view their clients' portfolios if required.

The third party facilities include:

	The ability for IFAs to set up access for third parties to manage only specific wrappers or sub accounts for selected clients. For trading access, the third parties must already be defined on the Wrap platform and have signed a third party management agreement between the Wrap platform and the IFA(s)
	The enquiry access for third parties (e.g. introducing law firms) to only allow viewing of the permitted clients portfolios and no trading
	For Third Parties providing management service, the Wrap platform allows a separate charge to be made based on a percentage value of the assets they manage or a slice of the trading fees
	The payment of the charges to third parties by BACS and the issue of an e-mail statement
