Andrew joined Royal London Asset Management in September 2001 as Chief Investment Officer. In September 2003 he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for RLAM’s corporate strategy and delivery. He was appointed to the Board of Royal London Group in December 2006.
Andrew began his investment management career in 1983 with Provident Life as a UK Equity Analyst while also assisting in the running of their property portfolio. In 1985 Andrew joined Mercantile & General Reinsurance, managing a variety of both equity and fixed interest portfolios, before moving on two years later to become Continental European Fund Manager at Gartmore. After successfully managing pan-European portfolios, Andrew became Gartmore’s Head of UK Institutional Equities in 1997, prior to his appointment as overall Head of UK Equities in 1999.
Andrew graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern History and Economics.
