Hugo Thorman has held a number of executive roles within the retail Financial Services industry, including Chief Executive of James Hay and Intermediary Marketing Director of Abbey National. Previous experience also includes Assistant Director of Strategy at Abbey Life, Marketing Director of Black Horse Financial Services and Consultant at Watson Wyatt.

Hugo has a sound knowledge of the intermediary market and expertise in pensions, investments and life assurance. He has been involved in Platforms since the launch of the James Hay Wrap in 2003. In 2005 he joined the embryonic Ascentric business as CEO.

Hugo has a B.A. honours degree in Economics from Nottingham University and an MBA from London Business School.
