A smooth change

Making sure the switch from one platform to another is as smooth as possible for you and your clients is paramount. So we are putting in place a phased plan to manage the rollout and guide you through the change.

A phased rollout: What it means in practice

It means…

  • We will phase the move to the new platform so we can manage the migration in a careful and controlled way.
  • We will split the migration by product.  We will initially go live with selected advisers who have a reasonable number of ISA / GIA and third party product clients.
  • Clients or family groups with an Ascentric SIPP will follow in a later release as will some more complex products such as selected corporate, charity and trust accounts.
  • There will be a period when those advisers selected for release 1 will use both the existing and new platforms. This will stop once all the adviser’s clients are migrated in the later release.
  • At no point will any client or family group be on both platforms.

What this means for you

Because we are taking a phased, controlled approach to migrating clients to the new platform, a number of clients and advisers will remain with the current platform until a later release.

We will actively contact you when your clients are due to migrate. If you don’t hear from us, don’t worry; we will be in contact at the right time, giving you plenty of notice.
